Observable spectral and angular distributions of γ-rays from extragalactic ultrahigh energy cosmic ray accelerators: the case of extreme TeV blazars

چکیده

ABSTRACT Ultrahigh energy protons and nuclei from extragalactic cosmic ray sources initiate intergalactic electromagnetic cascades, resulting in observable fluxes of γ-rays the GeV–TeV domain. The total spectrum such cascade hadronic nature is significantly harder than one usually expected blazars. spectra some known as ‘extreme TeV blazars’ could be well-described by this ‘intergalactic model’ (IHCM). We calculate shape point-like spectrum, well angular distibution γ-rays, for first time taking into account effect primary proton deflection filaments galaxy clusters magnetic field assuming model Dolag et al. Ultrahigh Energy Cosmic Rays and Prompt TeV Gamma Rays from Gamma Ray Bursts

Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs) have been proposed as one possible class of sources of the Ultrahigh Energy Cosmic Ray (UHECR) events observed up to energies >∼ 10 eV. The synchrotron radiation of the highest energy protons accelerated within the GRB source should produce gamma rays up to TeV energies. Here we briefly discuss the implications on the energetics of the GRB from the point of view of the d...

The Extragalactic Neutrino Background Radiations From Blazars and Cosmic Rays

Blazar emission of gamma rays and cosmic ray production of gamma rays in gas-rich clusters have been proposed recently as alternative sources of the high energy extragalactic diffuse gamma ray background radiation. We show that these sources also produce a very different high energy extragalactic diffuse neutrino background radiation. This neutrino background may be detected by the new generati...

Spectral Energy Distributions of Gamma-ray Blazars

Average Spectral Energy Distributions (SED) for different subgroups of blazars are derived from available homogeneous (but small) data sets, including the gamma–ray band. Comparing Flat Spectrum Radio Quasars (FSRQ) with BL Lacs extracted from radio (RBL) or X–ray surveys (XBL) remarkable differences and similarities are apparent: i) in all cases the overall SED from radio to gamma–rays shows t...

Average Spectral Energy Distributions of Blazars from Radio to γ–rays

The average Spectral Energy Distributions (SED) of different classes of blazars from the radio to the gamma–ray band are studied adopting a “complete–sample” approach. The SED are globally similar, despite systematic differences in specific frequency ranges, showing two broad peaks. However, i) the first and second peak occur in different frequency ranges for different objects, with a tendency ...

the role of russia in transmission of energy from central asia and caucuses to european union
